Agenda- Check your child's agenda daily for homework assignments, daily behavior recording and special announcement. Please make sure your child comes to school prepared and ready for the day with the required folders and assignments due. They need to bring their GREEN FOLDER, AGENDA, and HOMEWORK every day.
Behavior will now be recorded on the calendars in front of your child's agenda. Please continue to inital that you have seen it. RAH reading reflections are due on Friday.
Volunteers- If your are interested in being a volunteer on field trips please make sure you have your district clearance. Contact the office for forms and information.
Your child may bring a water bottle containing water only to keep in the classroom. Please write their name on their bottle.
Snack- Please send a healthy snack with your child daily. Fruit, veggies cheese, crackers, pretzels, cereal or granola bars, or anything else that is easy to eat. Please do not send any food item that contains syrup or spills easily. Please keep in mind of the nut and food allergies in the classroom. Snacks may not be shared with other students. Please no candy, cookies, chips or sugary snacks. Students my bring a water bottle into the classroom with WATER only please. They may drink other drinks during lunch time in the cafeteria. Please put your child's name on the water bottles to avoid confusion and sharing.
* Don't forget your to show your ARS Spirit every Friday. Wear your ARS shirts or Gator colors, green and blue shirts. Our class loves to win the Spirit Stick.

Choosing a Book to Read:
*Please help your child select independent reading books that can challenge your child, but not create frustration.
Reading to your child, or having them read out loud counts too!
I-Pick Good-Fit Books
I select a book and look it over, inside and out.
Purpose: Why might I want to read it?
Interest: Does it interest me?
Comprehend: Do I understand what I am reading?
Know: Do I know MOST of the words?...try reading the first page
